Have you tried fully removing the iPlayer software from your PC, using the Kontiki Cleaner ("KCleaner") app to remove all traces of Kontiki software from your machine, and then reinstalling from scratch?Christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01386819302956011610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8391390846081175985.post-82172904349390348072007-09-14T17:42:00.000+01:002007-09-14T17:42:00.000+01:00Hi, The BBC Iplayer suddenly stopped working for m...Hi, The BBC Iplayer suddenly stopped working for me, I have removed it and the Knttki programme but it still won't load and neither will 4od Now I was wondering if you had any solution for this as it's becoming rather annoying not being able to use either.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09446063846636245096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8391390846081175985.post-41704528269569879572007-06-30T11:46:00.000+01:002007-06-30T11:46:00.000+01:00It's not... The iPlayer only currently has stuff from the past 7 days, no on-demand and no series stacking - but it will be coming soon when it's rolled out.

I'm not sure about back catalogue and archive stuff - the Archive Trial is currently undergoing a private beta for its public value test, there's only 1,000 items on there (pretty much a sampling of a few things) but I'm not sure if that'll even reach public beta or not.

For now, no Doctors, only one Doctor (Who?... guess), but I wouldn't write it off.Christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01386819302956011610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8391390846081175985.post-59965019962802690612007-06-28T21:18:00.000+01:002007-06-28T21:18:00.000+01:00Is the show Doctors available on here? I've been waiting to find out for so long, it's one of very few shows that I actually like on the BBC and it's always on in the afternoons!

Thanks.FishFingershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07298860555053590589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8391390846081175985.post-46121839627958140612007-06-20T01:20:00.000+01:002007-06-20T01:20:00.000+01:00Ah, I remember the days of analogue... I was stuck on 56k for years whilst the rest of my village got cabled, all because our road was the only piece of privately-owned land in the entire village! That was frustrating.

Transitioning to Virgin Media for their (hugely-traffic-shaped) 20Mb service on the 21st of June (on Friday!), so I'll be interested to see how the P2P download aspect of iPlayer manages to (ab)use the higher available bandwidth.Christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01386819302956011610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8391390846081175985.post-6521577103594689212007-06-19T22:06:00.000+01:002007-06-19T22:06:00.000+01:00Interesting to hear your views. Glad to see that the accessibility looks good, and also offline help is a bonus. I get driven up the wall with software that just automatically assumes you are online all the time. Somewhat envious of your connection speed as well, it is strictly 31.2Kbps for me in Greece at the moment!Martin Belamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03545948950673194456noreply@blogger.com
